It’s important that we acknowledge all parts of history and that includes the darker parts we may not want to talk about. Slavery is a prolific part of almost every country’s history; some still struggling with the repercussions and damage it’s done to their economic and social structures.

Hulu has a great selection of slavery-themed films based on first-hand accounts and historic figures that enlighten us to what truly happened.
