Already dreaming about pressing play on that New Year’s Eve celebration long before the clock strikes twelve? You’re not the only one. According to a recent survey from Netflix:

• 9 is the new midnight for parents in the U.S., with nearly half of parents (48%) saying they’d ring in the new year by 9 p.m.
• And if your New Year’s Eve countdown is closer to 7 p.m. than midnight, you’re not alone. According to a recent survey from Netflix, a third of parents (34%) admitted they either had or planned to start the party early and fool their kids into thinking its midnight long before the ball drops.

Who is King Julien?

King Julien XIII is an Indian-accented conceited, selfish, fun-loving ring-tailed lemur.

As a self-proclaimed lord of the lemurs, Julien ruled over a great colony of lemurs in Madagascar using mostly his charisma and delegating, i.e. telling other people what they should do since he certainly had very little ability to lead.

Nevertheless, he shows more intelligence and calmness compared to the other lemurs (aside from Maurice). (Source)

All Hail King Julien is an American computer-animated television series. It stars characters from the DreamWorks Animation animated film Madagascar.

It stars the main three lemurs; King Julien, Mort, and Maurice from the Madagascar franchise, and takes place in Madagascar before the events of the first film making it a prequel. (Source)
