Where to Find Netflix DVD Titles

Looking for the best way to access your favorite movies on DVD from Netflix? Here's where to find Netflix DVD titles.

Where can I get movies now that Netflix is ending its DVD rentals program?

As of April 20, 2023, Netflix has discontinued its DVD rentals program. It will send out its final red envelope on September 29, 2023. However, there are still several other options available for obtaining movies:

  1. Streaming Services: Streaming services such as Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max, and others offer a wide range of movies available for streaming online. These services usually require a subscription fee, but they provide a vast library of movies that can be accessed from various devices such as smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, and computers.
  2. Video-on-Demand (VOD) Services: VOD services like Google Play Movies, iTunes, Vudu, and YouTube Movies allow you to rent or purchase movies digitally. You can rent movies for a specific period or buy them to own and stream them online or download them to your device.
  3. Physical Retailers: Many physical retailers, such as Walmart, Best Buy, and Target, still offer DVDs and Blu-ray discs for sale. You can purchase movies in-store or online and have them delivered to your home.
  4. Public Libraries: Your local public library may have a collection of movies available for borrowing. Many libraries offer DVD and Blu-ray rentals, allowing you to borrow movies for a certain period for free.
  5. Rental Services: Some rental services, such as Redbox, offer physical DVD and Blu-ray rentals at kiosks located in various locations, such as grocery stores, convenience stores, and pharmacies. You can rent movies from these kiosks and return them when you're done.
  6. Second-hand Stores: Second-hand stores, such as thrift stores and pawn shops, often have a selection of used DVDs and Blu-ray discs available for purchase at discounted prices.
  7. Online Marketplaces: Online marketplaces like eBay and Amazon often have used movies available for purchase from third-party sellers.

It's worth noting that availability and options may vary depending on your location and the specific movies you're looking for. It's always a good idea to check the legal and ethical ways of obtaining movies in your area and follow applicable laws and regulations.
