 These Oscar-winning movies on Netflix are great to watch during Oscars weekend or any time of year. These Academy Award-winning movies on Netflix won awards for sound, costume design, makeup, music, and the Best Picture. They’re only one genre of Award Winning Movies on Netflix.

The Oscars is a nickname for The Academy Awards, an annual American awards ceremony hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) to recognize excellence in cinematic achievements in the United States film industry as assessed by the Academy’s voting membership.

The various category winners are awarded a copy of a statuette, officially called the Academy Award of Merit, which has become commonly known by its nickname “Oscar.” (Source)

The upcoming ceremonies are set to take place on February 28, 2021, and February 27, 2022.

The weekend known as “Oscars weekend” kicks off with celebs who start partying on Thursday night and enjoy festivities leading up to the awards show, which airs live on Sunday night.
