Best Christmas Movies for Kids

I can’t think of a better family tradition than spending the afternoon baking cookies and spending the evening running a marathon of Christmas movies to get the entire family feeling the spirit.

If you’re looking for fun Christmas movies your kids will love, here are just a few of my favorites. Gather the entire family (because yes, these movies are so good that adults will love them just as much), grab a few snacks, and spend an evening (or several) binge-watching these fun Christmas movies for kids.

The problem arises when her brother, Nick, realizes he might not be up to the title and gets sent on holiday for the weekend. To everyone’s dismay, Nick doesn’t come back home when he’s supposed to, and the entire Santa World is turned upside down just as the holiday season is about to begin and Noelle is left with no choice but to go on a journey in search of her brother. | Stream on Disney+

This movie is absolutely hilarious, so don’t be surprised if you suddenly find yourself watching it even when the kids aren’t around!

A whimsical animated film that will definitely get you shedding a tear or two. A postal worker befriends a retired toymaker who lives alone up in the mountains (hmmm?). Realizing the toymaker’s potential, the postal worker convinces him to continue crafting toys with the promise to help deliver them to kids in the nearby village. Sounds a little familiar? | Stream on Netflix

The Santa Clause

Everyone knows Santa as the guy who delivers gifts on Christmas, but the actual work that goes behind making it all happen often goes unnoticed. That is, until a divorced dad suddenly learns that Santa isn’t born – he is made. As soon as the red suit is worn, a person is given Santa’s role and powers – along with the never-ending list of duties that come along with the title. This movie is a great one to watch, especially if your kids are getting curious and asking questions about Rudolph and the elves!
